Slipway
With a fast growing demand for ship repair and maintenance, the PEMB Group has started its slipway project to allow for the repair of different types of steel and aluminium vessels. Once completed, it will be the biggest ship repair facility in Kalimantan and also one of the biggest dry docking facilities in Indonesia, with capacity of repairing three units of 300 feet barge simultaneously.
The construction is due for completion at the end of 2010 and is expected to start operating in 2011.
